Our Trip to Macedonia

We went on a trip from Guildford to Macedonia and on the way we went through England, France, Italy and Greece.

Leaving England

First, we went to the ferry in Dover. We didn’t go with Phil and Anna because we had to get the trailer because our Land-rover was stuffed!

In France 

Next, we went to Anna’s parent’s house & the next day was Anna’s birthday and that day we were going that day and Anna had a cake!

In Italy

Then, we went to a house with a puppy dog which his name Tebootse That daddy (Scot) played with .

In Greece

Finally, we went to Greece and daddy bought a cowboy hat.then we went to a campsite that we had been in before in Harry. (my favourite campervan)! The next day Daddy said we would go to a house with a very cute puppy. It was sad to leave him (he was called Alex).

Overall, it was a brilliant trip from Guildford to Macedonia!

Going to the zoo, zoo, zoo...

THE SUNDAY BEEFOR THE LARST WE WENT TO THE ZOO. Measuring Things.

We walked around the world - really we did!!

Ages ago Mimi asked Mummy and Daddy how many days it takes to walk around the world. Sooo we looked up the answer on the internet and Mummy asked us to do a presentation about it.

In school-time we also worked out how many days it would take US to walk around the world - this was very tricky for me and Mimi and also very tricky for Mummy. We had to use a calculator and everything!!

Some people in the community had guessed how many days it would take to walk round the world so we found out who was closest and invited everyone to see our presentation so we could tell them and give out the prize. Markus's guess was nearest so we gave him some chocolate money.

Last weekend when Daddy was away we did our own walk around the world. We took the atlas and had to work out which country we were going to next. We went through loads of countries, saw all sorts of animals, said hello to our friends in New Zealand and Mexico and even had a picnic in India! It was so much fun, but I was really tired at the end - I have only got little legs!!

My first ballet lesson

Last week I started ballet lessons and I like it ssssssssssssssssssssssssso much. We learnt Plies and we've been snowmen, snowflakes and clowns. And we've been Princesses of course.

We also do lots of exercises like having to touch our noses onto our knees. I can't do that yet though. My favourite bit is doing the houses where we have to put our arms above our heads and then run with our knees up, and of course wearing the beautiful ballet clothes.

I really want to make the teacher some special biscuits so I hope we can do that for next week.

Back home and it's cold!!

I can't believe we've only been back home 2 weeks! When we were at Nana's I didn't want to come home, but actually it's been brilliant. Here are some of the things we've been up to:

This is my Autumn sculpture. For school we had to make a sculpture with things that had fallen from the trees and my sculpture is of a face.

ThingS-a-me-bob!

OK, so this is really cool - a few days ago we had a parcel arrive from New Zealand and in it was Thing 1 with a letter he had written (backwards!!) for us to read. We had to read the letter in the mirror which was lots of fun! He said he wanted to learn German too, so we've been doing our best to teach him.

Then today another letter arrived, from England this time, and guess who was inside??

That's right! Thing 2. He must have been missing Thing 1 and wanted to come and stay too. SO now we have 2 things to teach German to. This is such good fun. I just have to keep them in their box and make sure they don't make a mess in our house as Mummy wouldn't be pleased!! We've hidden all the kites and Mummy's best dresses and are really hoping that they're good while they stay here!!

Oh no!! What will we do if the Cat-in-the-Hat arrives too, then there'll really be trouble!!

Starting school...

So, we started school again this week. I'm still not sure why I have to do school, aren't I clever enough already? Anyway Mummy says I do so I suppose I'll just have to do it!

It's not been too bad actually - I get to do writing in a pen now and we have our own desks in the Wohnzimmer which is quite cool. I thought I'd tell you about the best bits of school this week:
